The following is my 2013 five-day workshop schedule. For more information about any of these, you can contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
May 5th: HOUSTON, TEXAS:
Houston has been my home for the past forty-five years, so I know just about all the best places to shoot either early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
May 28th: SPRINGTIME IN TUSCANY:
Tuscany in the Spring is fabulous! For a complete description (too long to include here), including pricing, hotel and a list of photographic opportunities including UNESCO World Heritage sites, contact me at the above e-mail address. For full information, click here.
July 17th: SANTA FE WORKSHOP:
After a long absence, I’ll be teaching again next year at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshop. There’s nothing quite like the subject matter in this part of the country, and I’m looking forward to going back. It will be my “Stretching Your Frame of Mind” class I teach around the planet, so come and create your own ‘Artist Palette’ and shoot with me.
July 28th: THE MAINE MEDIA WORKSHOP:
This will be my 18th year in Maine, and I look forward to the incredible energy there each and every summer. Started in 1973, the Maine Media Workshop has been the benchmark for other workshops to follow.
I conduct my class the same week each year since it coincides with the Lobster Festival in Rockland, and the state fair in Bangor. It gives my class another subject to shoot other than the beautiful sunsets, the fishing villages, the lighthouses and the countryside filled with flowers that usually peak this time of year.
September 23rd: THE NAPA VALLEY/SONOMA PHOTO WORKSHOP/WINE TASTING:
For years, I’ve wanted to combine my two favorite things in the world to do. Take pictures and drink really good wine. Years ago, I shot a campaign for VW in Napa, and enjoyed a glass of wine in the evenings when we weren’t getting up at sunrise to shoot. Since then, I’ve thought about going back and teaching a workshop, and as luck would have it two photographers that took my Maine Media Workshop last August just happened to live there.
After talking to them they agreed to help me put it together, so next September come and enjoy the best of two worlds with me.

October 14th: The JULIA DEAN WORKSHOP in Hollywood, California.
This will be my fourth trip to LA, and I’m always up for the great weather and photo opportunities that this city has to offer.
Hope to shoot with you in 2013. Click here for full info.
